Fiestas Patrias “Dieciséis de Septiembre” (Sep. 16) Mexican Independence celebration is back after a one-year cancellation due to the COVID pandemic.
The 2021 version, a one-day celebration, has several additions: a 5-K run and special recognition awards, stated Monette Molinar, president of the Southside Lions Club.
The jam-packed family event kicks off on Saturday, Sep. 18, 2021 from 5 p.m. – 12 midnight
