5K/10K Competitive Walk-Run

Dia De Los Muertos 5K/10K invites you to participate in a competitive run/walk in remembrance of a loved one who has passed away. It is through your health and wellbeing that you can honor the life and death of a friend or family member. Be sure to bring a photo in commemoration of these individuals to place on the altar at the race start/finish.

Cost is $45.

Race categories  AWARDED AGE DIVISION:  1st, 2nd & 3rd MALE & FEMALE  14 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70+

Starting Location: SAN ANGELO: START LOCATION IS ON THE EASTSIDE OF THE SAN ANGELO FINE ARTS MUSEUM. TRAIL IS MARKED WITH BANNERS & FLOUR INDICATING DIA DE LOS MUERTOS COURSE SEND SELFIES / PICTURES OF YOUR RUN / WALK TO POST ON FACEBOOK: SAN ANGELO HISPANIC HERITAGE MUSEUM AND CULTURAL CENTER Directions: THIS IS A CHIP-TIMED EVENT PROVIDED BY SAN ANGELO ROAD LIZARDS 10K— START: 0800 - Run / Walk from the museum, cross Celebration Bridge take a left, continue along the Concho River Trails cross Irving street, continue on Veterans Memorial Dr. Runners will run past Central High School continue to & pass *WATER STATION at 14th Street. Cross 14th Street to North River Dr. to 10K TURNAROUND. Spotters will be at location. Return route will be on North River Dr to Veteran Memorial Dr to Irving Street to finish at San Angelo Fine Arts Museum. 5K— START: 0815 -- Run / Walk is an out & back. start from the museum, cross Celebration Bridge take a left, continue along the Concho River Trails cross Irving street, turn left on 1st wooden footbridge, cross over turn right continue past Visitors Center to 2nd footbridge cross over, turn left onto Veterans Memorial Dr. continue to 5K TURNAROUND located by the low water crossing. Spotters at turnaround. Runners / walkers will run back to footbridges to finish line.
